BBC Bangla Radio is a foreign language service that is conducted by the BBC world service. It is owned by BBC and officially launched on 11th October, 1941 with a 15-minute program under the BBC World Service. It is mainly a type of radio network and website. This attained an approval in Bangladesh and among the Bengali community in India.

It is broadcast from the headquarters at Broadcasting House in London and also from BBC Bureau in Dhaka, Kolkata & Delhi. The headquarters used to be in Bush House. In 2012, BBC Bangla moved to Broadcasting House.
