BBC Bangla Radio

BBC Bangla Radio is a foreign language service that is conducted by the BBC world service. It is owned by BBC and officially launched on 11th October, 1941 with a 15-minute program under the BBC World Service. It is mainly a type of radio network and website. This attained an approval in Bangladesh and among the Bengali community in India.

BBC Bangla Radio is broadcasting its popular programs by radio service and internet radio. It is broadcast from the headquarters at Broadcasting House in London and also from BBC Bureau in Dhaka, Kolkata & Delhi. The headquarters used to be in Bush House. In 2012, BBC Bangla moved to Broadcasting House.

They also make entertainment programs, news, analysis and discussions about the headlines of newspaper. They also hold programs to reply mail, email and opinion of listeners.

In Bangladesh BBC Bangla Radio broadcasts with FM radio in Dhaka, Barisha, Comilla, Cox’s Bazar, Thakurgaon, Chittagong, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Sylhet, Khulna at different Radio Frequency.
